TROY, Mich. — Schrader TPMS Solutions has launched an online educational platform, TPMSAcademy.com, for information on tire-pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
The free training course walks service professionals through five modules of basic TPMS knowledge and training, the company said, covering topics such as the North American TPMS legislation, sensor overviews, installation best practices, programming and relearning.
Users who complete the course with an 80% or higher score will receive a certificate of completion, Schrader said.
The company — a business unit of Sensat Technologies Inc. — said it will add new training content to the platform on a regular basis, including up-to-date information about Schrader’s TPMS training opportunities.
To promote the platform, Schrader is offering a prize drawing through June 31. By completing all five modules of the course with a score of 80% or higher, individuals will be entered to win one of five Schrader 175th anniversary shop stools.
